THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR!!!



Hello!!!!

As you may know we have a VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR at school!!! He  has been teaching us about different food such us: apples, ice-creams, oranges, watermelon, plums, strawberries, chocolate cake, sausages, lollipop….

We have been giving food to him for the last month, because he was very very very HUNGRY!!!!


Look at how big the caterpillar has grown!!!

Cinderella theatre for 4th

CINDERELLA
Narrator:  Cinderella lives in a house with her Stepmother and her two Stepsisters. Her Stepmother never works around the house.  Everyday she says.

Stepmother:  Cinderella, wash the dishes! Cinderella, clean the house! Cinderella, work, work, work! 

Narrator:  Her Stepmother is not good.  She is bad. Cinderella’s Stepsisters don’t like to work either.

Stepsister 1: Cinderella, come here! 

Stepsister 2:  Cinderella sweep the floor!

Stepsister 1: Cinderella clean my shoes!   

Stepsister 2:  Cinderella comb my hair!

Narrator:  Cinderella is very beautiful, and hardworker.  She is good to her Stepmother and to her Stepsisters.  One day they receive an invitation.

Father: Oh look! You’ve got an invitation from the Prince!

Stepsister 1:  Mother, read it!

Stepsister 2:  What does it say?

Stepmother:  It says…  Every woman is invited to a ball.

Cinderella:  Oh, I want to go to the ball.  I like to dance.

Stepsister 1:  You want to go to the ball?

Stepsister 2: You must be crazy!

Cinderella:  Yes, Please. Can I go to the ball?
Stepmother: No, you can’t

Cinderella: Father, please!

Father: I’m sorry Cinderella… you don’t have a dress.

Cinderella:  I don’t have a pretty dress.  I have an ugly dress.  I am not going to the ball.

Narrator: On Saturday, the ugly sisters go to the ball.

Stepsister 1:  What a shame! 

Stepsister 2: We have pretty dresses. 

Stepsister 1 and 2: Good-bye! 

Narrator:  Suddenly, Cinderella sees a very beautiful woman.  It’s her Fairy Godmother.

Fairy Godmother: Don’t be sad. You can go to the ball. You can wear this dress and these shoes.

Narrator:  Cinderella looks at her dress and says.

Cinderella:  Yes, I have a pretty dress!  I am going to the ball.  I am happy!

Fairy Godmother: Just remember that you have to come back at twelve o’clock.  Don’t forget!

Cinderella:  No, I won’t forget!  Good-bye.

Narrator:  Cinderella goes to the ball, and when she enters the palace everybody look at her.

Girl 1:  What a pretty girl!

Girl 2:  Who is she?

Girl 1: I don’t know!

Girl 2: Where is she from?

Girl 1: I don’t know!

Girl 2: The Prince is looking at her!

Girl 1: She is really beautiful!

Narrator:  The handsome prince looks at her and says.

Prince:  I want to dance with her.

Narrator:  He walks to where she is, and says.

Prince: Please, Can I dance with you?

Cinderella: Oh yes! I love dancing!
♪♫♬♬♩♩♩♪♪♪♪

Narrator:  And they danced all night.  Suddenly, Cinderella hears the clock strike.

Cinderella: What’s the time?

Prince: It’s 12 o’clock

Cinderella: Oh no! Time to go home!

Prince: But it’s early. Please don’t go.

Cinderella: I’m sorry! Goodbye!

Narrator: Cinderella runs home and the Prince finds her shoe on the ground

Prince:  I have to find my pretty lady.  I have her shoe!

Narrator:  Next morning, he goes to town and looks for her in every house.

Prince:  Good morning. Is there a lady here?
Stepmother: Yes, I have two beautiful daughters! Daughters! Come here!

Prince: I need to find whose is this shoe.

Stepmother: Daughter!

Stepsister 1: Yes, mother

Stepmother: Try on the shoe!

Stepsister 1: I can’t! This shoe is too small!

Stepmother: Daughter!

Stepsister 2: Yes, mother!

Stepmother: Try on the shoe!

Stepsister 2: Yes, of course! It’s mine!

Narrator: But it was too small for her too.
Cinderella comes and says:

Cinderella: That shoe is mine!

Stepsisters: Hahahahhaha… it’s funny!

Cinderella: Yes, that shoe is mine! And I have the other one.

Prince:  Yes! You’re the girl I’m looking for! Do you want to marry me?

Cinderella:  Yes, I want to marry you. 

Narrator:  And now Cinderella and the Prince live happily in the palace. So it’s time to sing and celebrate!
Let’s sing: “Off to the theatre
All:“Off to the theatre, what fun that can be! Off to the theatre, come sing and dance with me!
Things happen good and bad, Make us happy, make us sad.

But because we’ve got a friend, Good wins in the end!”



Hansel and Gretel theatre for 3rd level

HANSEL AND GRETEL
  • Narrator: Deep in the forest a man and his wife are talking. They are very poor and they have no food. The wife has a solution but the father doesn’t like it.
  • Stepmother: Let’s leave the two children in the forest!!! We have no money and no food!
  • Father: What are you saying??? No way!!!
  • Stepmother: They can look after themselves so we can have some food!
  • Father: I don’t like the idea…but I suppose it is what we have to do…
  • Narrator: The children are listening; they are so hungry they can’t sleep. Gretel starts crying…
  • Gretel: What can we do?
  • Hansel: Don’t worry. I know what to do! Please don’t cry!
  • Narrator: He goes to the garden and looks all around, then he picks up some pebbles. // The next day they go into the forest.  And then their stepmother said:
  • Stepmother: Let’s stop for a while! Here’s a good place!
  • Narrator: But the father is sad, there are tears on his face.
  • Father:  Wait here and be careful!
  • Narrator: The children wait quietly until the night arrived. Then Gretel was worried.
  • Gretel: They are not going to come!
  • Hansel: But I know how to go home! Let’s follow the pebbles!
  • Narrator: And the children arrived home.
  • Father: Children!!! You are at home!!!
  • Stepmother: How can it be??? Arrrgggg. Tomorrow we’re going for another long walk!
  • Narrator: The next day Hansel does the same but with pieces of bread. Then they stop again. 
  • Stepmother: Let’s stop for a while! Here’s a good place!
  • Narrator: But the father is sad, there are tears on his face.
  • Father:  Wait here and be careful!
  • Narrator: At night, the children are alone again and Gretel starts crying.
  • Hansel: Don’t worry my sister. There’s bread on the ground, we can find our way home. Let’s go!
  • Poor man: mmmm…. I’m so hungry!!! I’m starving!!! … I don’t have money and I can’t buy food! What can I do? Please God, Help me!!!... Look!!!!  What is this??? It’s BREAD!!! It’s incredible!!! Bread!!! Bread!!!
  • Hansel: What? There’s no bread!!! What happened???... You!!! Where is our bread???
  • Poor man: Bread? Which bread? I don’t know!
  • Hansel: Yes!!! You have our bread! Now we don’t know how to go home!!! … Let’s walk this way!
  • Poor man: Good luck! There is a bad man over there!!! Be careful! Bye bye!!!
  • Gretel: I’m scared!
  • Hansel: Don’t be scared! Look!!! There’s a house! What’s this? Is it ice cream?
  • Gretel: Yes! Yum! I like ice cream! What’s this? Is it chocolate?
  • Hansel: Ooooh, Yes, it is!!!
  • Wizard: Ha ha ha!!! Look! My favourite food! CHILDREN! 
  • Narrator: At the Wizard’s house.
  • Wizard: Hello children. Who are you?
  • Hansel: I’m Hansel
  • Gretel: I’m Gretel.
  • Wizard: This is my house. Do you like ice cream and chocolate?
  • Hansel and Gretel: Oh yes, we do!!!
  • Wizard: Please, come in. It’s lunchtime!  You can eat all you want!!! You can have ice cream, biscuits, sweets, white chocolate, dark chocolate, cakes…all you want!!!
  • Narrator: The wizard gives a lot of food to the children. He wants to eat fat children.  One day, he decides to eat them!
  • Wizard: I want to eat these children… Come over here, child. See if the oven is hot.
  • Hansel: Yes, it is hot!
  • Wizard: Now…GET IN THE OVEN!
  • Hansel: No!!! YOU GET IN!  Quick Gretel, run!!!
  • Narrator: Their dad and stepmother were sad without Hansel and Gretel, so they decided to go into the forest to look for them.
  • Dad: Hansel!!! Gretel!!!
  • Stepmother: Gretel!!! Hansel!!!
  • Poor man: Hello! Are you looking for a girl and a boy?
  • Dad: Yes! They are my son and my daughter!!!
  • Poor man: They are lost! They are in the wizard’s house! It’s a very dangerous house!!!
  • Dad: I’m not afraid!
  • Stepmother: Where is the wizard’s house?
  • Poor man: It’s next to the biggest tree in the forest!
  • Narrator: Suddenly they listen to the children shouting…
  • Hansel and Gretel: Dad!!! Mum!!!
  • Dad: My son! And my daughter!!!
  • Stepmother: I’m sorry children, I love you!!!
  • Gretel: I’m happy now!!!
  • Hansel: Me too!!! Come and dance!!!
  • Dad: And sing!!!
  • Poor man: Yes!!! Off to the theatre!!!
  • All: “Off to the theatre, what fun that can be! Off to the theatre, come, sing and dance with me.
  • We can watch the show, with the lights down low. We can dance and sing, we can all join in!"
